Variety's Power of Comedy award show returned to SXSW for its second consecutive year, this time joining forces with ACL Live in Downtown Austin for an incredible partnership in 2024.

Throughout the planning process, The Broad Collective played a pivotal role as the local liaison between the esteemed historic theater, vendors, and Variety, facilitating site visits, orchestrating the show's logistics, and helping to bring Variety’s creative vision to life.

Under our guidance, celebrity talent received white-glove treatment with VIP check-ins and stage support throughout the event. The evening unfolded seamlessly, punctuated by uproarious laughter from the audience and heartfelt acceptance speeches from luminaries such as Nick Kroll, Brooke Shields, the iconic Jean Smart, and a host of others.
