Fender’s September 2022 release of its Jackson American Soloist guitar was a long-awaited event for those who have been loyal to the Jackson brand over the years. Their newest iteration of the Soloist brought guitar production back to the USA and brought the design into a new era of music. We knew the release of the guitar to the media and press had to be a vibe that matched the excitement and fervor of the community. To do that, we crafted a 3-day retreat for them to learn everything about the new Soloist, which included a tour of Fender’s factory in Corona, CA. We also featured a product display and demo and arranged multiple dinners and happy hours around Hollywood and the Sunset Strip, where many rock legends were made. And we couldn’t possibly host a guitar release without hearing some music, so we included a special performance by Brandon Ellis of the Black Dahlia Murder to round out the weekend.
